"Team access has been decent..."
Team access has been decent overall. Setting permissions is usually easy enough, but every now and then it gets weirdly confusing and I just want it to work without having to poke around forever.

"Made it easier for me to get started"
I’m picky about templates because a lot of them feel bloated or too generic, but these were actually helpful. I found what I needed quickly and didn’t have to waste time fiddling around before starting my script. For me, that made the whole writing process feel a lot less annoying.
"I’ve tried a bunch of budgeting stuff before..."
I’ve tried a bunch of budgeting stuff before and none of it ever clicked for me. This one actually helped me see where my money was going without making it feel like homework lol. A few things took me a minute to get used to, but overall it made budgeting way less stressful and kinda finally make sense.

"Shot lists feel way less chaotic now"
I’ve been using Celtx mostly for shot lists, and yeah, it’s made prep a lot smoother.
It’s just nice having the shots, notes, and scene stuff in one place instead of bouncing between random files. Moving things around is easy too, which matters when plans change.
Some parts took a minute to get used to, but it’s been worth it. Saves time and keeps our little crew more organized.
"I’ve been using celtx for my scripts..."
I’ve been using celtx for my scripts and it just feels secure enough that I’m not worrying about my stuff being out there. Logging in is easy, sharing settings are straightforward, and I haven’t run into any weird privacy issues or anything like that. The settings arent confusing either, which helps. It just gives me a little peace of mind when I’m working with other people on a project

"I’ve been using the Celtx app on..."
I’ve been using the Celtx app on my phone for quick script touch-ups and jotting down notes when I’m out and about. It’s been really smooth so far, and I love being able to jump into a scene and fix little things without needing my laptop. Sure, working on a tiny screen isn’t always ideal, but for quick edits it’s been a lifesaver. Easy 5 stars from me.

"My laptop crashed and one of my script..."
My laptop crashed and one of my script files went completely weird on me. I was 100% convinced I’d lost a ton of work and was already panicking. But Celtx backup had almost everything saved, and I was able to get it back without too much hassle. It took me a minute to figure out where the restore option was, but it worked exactly when I needed it to. No question, it saved me a ridiculous amount of stress.
"Support got back to me faster than I expected"
I ran into a small issue with my Celtx account earlier this week and thought it might take a couple of days to get sorted. I reached out to support that afternoon, and they got back to me quickly. By the next time I checked, they already understood what was going on and helped fix it without making me send a bunch of extra messages back and forth. It ended up being way easier than I expected. Always nice when support actually responds in a reasonable amount of time
"Easy subscription, no billing hassle"
Getting set up was really easy. The subscription part was straightforward, the billing just worked. No weird charges, no confusion, no hassle.

"I love being able to see every..."
I love being able to see every little change made to a script. It makes rewrites so much easier to deal with, especially for our small team. Way less confusion, way less mess.

"Harder to Use Than I Expected"
I got frustrated waiting around and clicking through everything just to find basic features. It took way longer than it should have, and what I thought would be simple ended up feeling like a hassle.

"Pretty okay, just wish offline worked better"
Celtx is mostly fine when I’ve got internet, and I do use it for writing and sorting out script stuff. But the offline mode is a bit iffy, I guess. I thought I’d be able to keep working on a train or somewhere with spotty wifi without really thinking about it, but sometimes the syncing gets weird after.
It’s still helpful overall, especially for planning things out, but it’s not quite as dependable as I’d hoped when I’m not connected. Not terrible, not amazing either. Around 3 stars feels about right.

"Clunky mess of an interface"
Celtx gets the job done, I guess, but the layout is kind of a disaster. The whole interface feels like a confused little gremlin, and it took me way too long to find basic stuff that should’ve been obvious

"Collaboration got a bit all over the place"
Trying to work on scripts with other people felt messier than I expected. Like, the actual writing part was fine, but then sharing stuff was clunky, and by the time comments showed up, we were already talking about something else. Not a total disaster, just kind of annoying in that “wait, which version are we looking at?” way
"Honestly, Celtx has been helpful so far"
I’ve been using the celtx learning materials recently, so it’s still fresh in my mind, but they’ve been really easy to follow. Whenever I got stuck, I was able to find an answer quickly, and the videos made the script tools click for me a lot faster than I expected.

"Easy storyboarding with a small hiccup"
I’ve been using celtx to map out scenes, it makes storyboarding feel really quick and straightforward. The boards come out clean and are easy to tweak when I need to make changes. I do wish a couple of the tools felt a little more intuitive at first, but once I got the hang of it, it definitely helped me stay organized and move faster

"I’ve been using Celtx for a..."
I’ve been using Celtx for a while now, and honestly... it’s just been really solid for me!! Pages load quickly, saving works without me stressing about it, and I haven’t had those annoying random crashes in the middle of writing. It’s simple enough for everyday use, and I actually trust it to keep my scripts safe!!!

"Cloud sync is reliable"
I bounce between Celtx on my laptop and my tablet a lot, and the cloud sync has been really useful. Most of the time my changes show up quickly, so I’m not stuck emailing drafts to myself or wondering which version is the latest.
There was one moment where a scene didn’t update right away and I got that little panic feeling because I’d just made a bunch of edits and didn’t want to lose anything, but after I refreshed and gave it a minute everything showed up fine, so it wasn’t a disaster, just a bit stressful in the moment.
I do wish the app made the sync status a little more obvious, like a clear saved or syncing message somewhere. Overall though, it’s been solid for writing when I’m moving around, not perfect, but it saves me a lot of hassle

"Wish I’d realized how quickly it gets expensive"
celtx has definitely been useful for writing and keeping my projects organized, and I do like that everything is online and easy to access. I just kind of wish I’d looked closer at the limits before getting into it, because the free and cheaper options start feeling restricted quickly.
For what it costs, I expected the whole experience to feel a little smoother and less focused on pushing upgrades. I don’t regret trying it, but I do regret assuming it would be a better fit for casual use. It’s still helpful if you really need the tools, but for me the value isn’t quite there.
